Create product groups
At the core of the app is the ability to create multiple groups of products, each which can have their own entirely unique set of rates.
Add methods to each group’s zones
For each product group, per shipping zone, you can define unlimited different rates you want to appear.
[PRODUCT GROUPS ZONES]
Choose between carrier rates ( UPS, FedEx, USPS, CanadaPost ) or rule based rates ( by items, by price, by weight ).
[METHOD ADD SCREEN]
Each type of shipping method gives you even greater flexibility and detail than the native shopify shipping method types.

When one product group is in an order
When all the items in an order are from one product group, all the methods that you have created for that group will appear.

When multiple products groups are in an order
If there are products from more than one product group in an order, instead of showing all the methods from each group, the app instead will show one Blended Rate.
The blended rate is calculated by adding together the preferred method from each product group.
[BLENDED METHODS SELECT OF TWO GROUPS]
The title of the blended rate will be whatever you choose to it say. By default we use a generic title like “Standard Shipping”.

Blending Rules
By default the app will calculate the blended rate simply by adding each of the preferred methods from each product group together. But, you can also set-up blending rules, which can control the formula used to calculate blended rate.
For instance you can make certain product groups ship for free when ordered along with a different product group.
Or, you can discount the final blended rate total by a percentage based on the number of product groups present in an order.

Additional Blended Rates
If you want multiple options for customers who have more than one product group in an order, you can create additional blended rates.
For instance, the most common additional blended rate would be used for offering an express shipping option.
The additional blended rate will only show as an option if all product groups in an order have a preferred method set for that method.
If a product group that does not have a preferred method set for that express option is present in an order, the express option will not be offered — even if other products have a preferred method set for express.
