Carrier Service

What is a carrier service? A carrier service is an app that displays shipping rates at checkout. Shopify comes with four built in carrier services for UPS, FedEx, USPS, and Canada Post. Shipping Zones

What is a shipping zone? A shipping zone in shopify is a specified region based on countries and/or provinces. Each specified zone allows you to set a unique set of shipping rates that will be displayed to customers using a shipping address that belongs to that zone. Fulfillment Services

What is a fulfillment service? A fulfillment service is a third-party warehouse or vendor that prepares and ships orders for you. Some examples of fulfillment services, that have integrations with Shopify are Fulfillment by Amazon, Shipwire, and Rakuten. But there can also be custom fulfillment services that you use for dropship vendors, or separate warehouses for your operation. Shopify offers some really basic functionality for custom fulfillment services — mainly sending an email to a vendor of only the products in an order that belong to that fulfillment service. Syncing

When you go to Settings > General in the app you will three sections for Products, Fulfillment Services, and Shipping Zones. Each one has a Sync button.  Syncing always goes in a one way direction from your shop -> the app.  Sync Products Whenever you add products, or edit products in your Shopify admin, and then open the app, it will ask you to Sync products.
