Add a carrier based method

Carrier methods, like rule based methods, are added to shipping zones within each product group. You can add as many carrier methods as you'd like to each group/zone. You can add methods from different carriers as well.  Click the Edit button that shows when you hover a Zone Title within a product group. Custom shipping method title

By default, each method you add to a zone will use the title that is returned by the carrier service's API.  You can modify this title in three ways. Changing the title by using a custom title, and appending or prepending text to the title.  To enable customization to a method's title, check the Customize Title box on the method edit page.  Custom Title This is used to completely replace the title provided by the carrier. Ship from postal code

Each carrier method you add needs a Ship From Postal Code in order to be saved, and for that method to work.  Sometimes this is also referred to as an Origin Zip Code.  When we send information to a carrier's API we need to tell them where the product is shipping from and where it is shipping to. The app will tell the carrier where the product is shipping to based on the customer's address. Free shipping override

When the total price of all products from the same product group is equal to or greater than the amount specified, then that method's price gets set to $0 — Free Shipping. The title of the method will not change. This setting only changes the price of this method to $0 based on the criteria.
